Fixture list released for 2022-23 EPL season

Arsenal FC has the honor of opening the 2022-23 Premier League season with a Friday fixture at Crystal Palace on August 5, kicking off a campaign in England’s top division that will feature a extended break in November and December to accommodate the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The opener at Selhurst Park is followed by the Gunners’ first home game of the season against Leicester City, before meetings with Bournemouth (away), Fulham (home) and Aston Villa (home) complete a busy opening month.

September matches include Arsenal’s first match against a Top 6 opponent – at Manchester United – while October features the first North London derby of the season along with additional home fixtures against Liverpool and 2021-22 champions Manchester City.

Arsenal will play Chelsea and Wolves in November before the league takes a break while players leave for the Qatar World Cup. Premier League fixtures return with a home date against West Ham on Boxing Day.

Key league dates in the first month of 2023 include a trip to Tottenham and a home match with Manchester United after the FA Cup campaign begins.

The Premier League season will run until May 28 – when Arsenal hosts Wolves at Emirates Stadium on the final day.

Here is the Gunners’ tentative league schedule, released on arsenal.com; all fixtures are subject to change, based on the club’s European commitments and revision made to accommodate broadcast schedules.
